What the interim lead owns
- Daily operations with your warehouse or 3PL: service levels, escalations, peak planning.
- Carrier relationships, invoices checked against the rate card, claims followed through.
- The logistics budget and the monthly report to the management team.
- The projects already on the table: a warehouse move, a new country, a returns overhaul.
How the handover works
From day one we keep a running handbook: suppliers, contracts, contacts, decisions and the reasons behind them. When your new head of logistics arrives, the handbook and four weeks of overlap are part of the engagement.
Terms
Minimum three months, then month by month. Day rate agreed upfront. The interim lead reports to whoever owns operations in your company, and to nobody at Northline.
